Stephen and Katrina Strong

BIG WALLY'S BARBEQUE DA' DRIZZLE

Big Wallys Barbecue became a reality in 2013 while Stephen was living in Savannah, GA. His love of outdoor cooking was inspired by his paternal grandfather, who was affectionately known as Big Wally. While the grill was going outside, his grandmother would be in the house preparing her secret barbecue sauce that was known throughout the neighborhood. Years later, Stephen would make that sauce his own, and name it Aint’ Jacks Drizzle, in honor of his grandmother. With a passion for barbecue and a strong sense of appreciation for his grandparents, Big Wallys Barbecue was born. Things really took off when Stephen returned home to Charlotte, NC in 2014 to great anticipation and support. He and his wife Katrina, have developed an even stronger following in their city today with their mobile business as well as their website www.bigwallysbbq.com where their sauces, dry rub, and apparel can be found.

iRep... LE'CRAEVYN'S IREP®

By Dr. Sharon H. Porter

It's exciting to watch a business grow and come into its own. Most small businesses face similar challenges and successes. Keep in mind though, that success looks and means different things to different business owners. During the first year of your business, celebrate each milestone...The launch of your website, trademarking your business, your first customer, your 100th customer, and your one year anniversary.

I have had the pleasure to watch and celebrate with Felicia Tabron, founder and CEO of Le'Craevyn's iRep® as she continues to push and market her brand, I've even "repped" North Carolina and Vision & Purpose LifeStyle Magazine and Media, through Le'Craevyn's iRep®. I caught up with Mrs. Tabron for a little Q & A about Le'Craevyn's iRep®.

JUNE 2022 SPECIAL EDITION V&P MAGAZINE

| 19

SHP: How did the concept of Le'Craevyn's iRep® come about? FT: I didn’t want to be typical; I wanted to do something meaningful. I prayed for a concept that would speak to an audience, not representative of me, but of the customer themselves.

iRep allows the wearer to ‘represent’ whatever is important to THEM, not just wear a brand that belongs to someone else. If they wish to bring awareness to an illness, promote a loved one, shout out their business or even themselves, family, whatever. iRep is the flagship for this type of love. SHP: What has been most challenging in your entrepreneurial journey? Most rewarding? FT: The most challenging thing, believe it or not, was believing in myself at first. There was an initial hesitancy based on my own thoughts about whether my brand would actually be acceptable to the masses. But again, I prayed and followed the vision that God had given me.

One of the most rewarding things I’ve experienced on this journey has been the support of close friends, families, and especially those repeat customers that spread the word, rock the brand and share the iRep message! This has helped me to overcome not believing in myself and to become bolder with the way I move in this space.

“...I prayed and followed the vision that God had given me. "

SHP: What keeps you motivated? FT: One of the main things that keep me motivated is

my son. I look back on how I was raised and now recognize the many sacrifices my mom made for me that allowed me to live a good life oblivious to her struggles. I now know the importance of residual income and building generational wealth. The chance to pass down a company that my husband and I have created is so motivating because what we are creating is tangible. SHP: What's next for Felicia Tabron? FT: When you ask this question it makes me feel as if

I am already ‘somebody’! I never imagined a magazine asking ME this question! What’s next? Expansion! Continuing to grow our customer base, focus on our goal, and expand the landscape of our reach and impact. SHP: Thank you, for taking the time to share a little

about Le'Craevyn's iRep® with our readers.

It all begins with an idea, just add the willingness to put in the work. There may be fear, but know that you can be scared of something and do it anyway... "Do it afraid"... Accomplishments, success, and greater are on the other side of fear. Congratulations, Mrs. Felicia Tabron! Vision & Purpose LifeStyle and Magazine celebrate you and Le'Craevyn's iRep®. Expansion is on the way!

Chef ReggieTabron

Le’Craevyn’s Catering & Events began out of a reoccurring need for catering from Reggie Tabron’s father, Lonnie Tabron, who was the owner of Le’Tabron’s Catering for over 30 years and had moved on from catering, but the need was still out there for the amazing experience once offered by Le’Tabron’s Catering. After a few years of avoiding what was destined to be and understanding how important it is to leave something of substance to his children.

He decided to combine the names of his children (Cruz & Raevyn) and where it all began for him as a kid at Le’Tabron’s to create Le’Craevyn’s Catering. From In-home Private Chef experience to large weddings, or anything in between or further Le’Craevyn’s Catering is your best choice. Their food reflects their commitment to exceptional quality. All food is prepared under the guidance of one of DC’s most renowned underground chefs, Executive Chef Reggie Tabron.
